I bought this issue from Patrones Magazine a while ago only for this little coat. It is just a super cute one!
I made a size 3 ( the pattern comes in 2-4-6 years, I traced a 4 but it was way to big for my daughter) .
As far I can understand spanish( not really) I think this it should be unlined but I did not see that as such a good idea so I lined.
It is pretty easy to sew, with the help of burda instructions from a coat it was no problem.
The pockets i had to watch in my sewing books a little as I never did those before, but I am pretty happy how they are looking. Also I made 2 small shoulder pads to give the coat a little body at the shoulders.
The buttonholes I had to make by hand as the machine did not want to feed so good the thick layers , but again I am satisfied :) .
At the end was more a struggle to get my little one to wear it with 25 degrees :) , but I think she is just as a little doll. :), I am sorry that are so many pictures, I just could not choose !!! :)
Thank you for reading.
