So I am really corny and like to dress my kids up for ALL the holidays. This 4th of July, I waited too long to purchase outfits for them so the stores were mostly sold out of patriotic gear. So I hopped over to Hancocks and bought some print cotton and threw these together. I didn’t use a pattern since the skirt was just a rectangle and the dress was a modified pillowcase type dress. I had my usual problems with gathering and using elastic. One of these days I hope to master those 2 skills. But they came out cute.
