Patch Khakis

Added Jun 25, 2010

by Olivia Anne

A girl in my art class was wearing these really cool khaki pants and I loved them so I decided to make my own, working off of burda magazine’s pattern with a lot of alterations. I added a patch of the same fabric and sewed some lines onto it to add texture but I think it would have been cooler if I used thread a shade darker. I designed my own back pockets and am overall very happy with how these turned out

Material Notes

cotton twill

Garment Type
Casual, Classic, Preppy

I’ve just printed off the Narrow Leg Pants 04/2010 #120 pattern.

The info on your web site says it doesn’t include seem allowance, but the instructions say it does (1.5cm). Which is correct?

Also the is no indication of what line is for what size.

    Thanks for your help,

lol I noticed that too but I think its just the camera angle..if you pulled them down at the thighs a little im sure it would disappear- the pants are great!
