This bubble tunic has a great ‘bib’-like pleated thing on the front – the Project Runway pattern (Simplicity 2725) tells me it’s proper name is a ‘Jabot’ – because I have used busy floral fabric it’s quite hard to see, but when I bought the pattern I really liked this detail. The tunic looks a bit sack-like on me without the belt, so I prefer to wear it this way. I made a channel in the hem and inserted elastic to give it the bubble look.
The lines of Greek architecture inspire this neutral and pastel collection.
