This summer I took part in a fantastic project in its 2nd year running- local fashion designers support participants to make an oufit on a £20 budget through sourcing fabric from the local markets and upcycling old clothes. The project then finished with a fashion show at the town hall.
I made a bright blue cotton peplum shift dress- I bought the fabric from the market and the peplum is from a blouse I had.
I traced the bodice from a dress i already had and the skirt is just a straight rectangle pencil skirt with a centre back invisible zip.
I really really enjoyed this project and it has given me so much confidence!
