This is my second project using the same pattern, the one shouldered bow party dress from Pattern Runway. The pattern is perfect, the instructions very well written, and the designer, Sarah, even helped me when I asked her a few questions about the bow construction. I made the first dress using this cheap cotton from my stash, but I liked so much that I ended up with a wearable muslin.
This is the fancy version, I made it to attend a wedding, and I am really happy with the outcome. The fabric doesn’t drape very well, but I am happy with it anyway.

I used this taffeta fabric with stretch, and I didn’t have to put a zipper
