This is a party dress made for a little girl. The dress is elegant enough to be used for a flower-girl in a bridal party.
The dress’s upper bodice is made from self-designed silky material trimmed with sequins. The skirt is 2-tier skirt in plain colour – the underskirt is made of silk taffeta and thus holds its shape, and the upper skirt is shimmering organza in the same hue.
The dress is finished off with a wide sash made of the silk taffeta, which is tied at the back. The sash is trimmed with fabric roses and ribbons (made by overlocking a long strip of the organza fabric). I also created a small bag in the same material as the dress as well as headband decorated with smaller roses.
