Kuala Lumpur, Ma...
My DD’s best friend is leaving for US. She will be badly missed. Wanted to give her a handmade parting gift and ended up making this dress which is simple, as her friend likes it is to be minimalistic with no frills and trims, though i added the leftover trim from my sister’s angrakha as the trims is simplistic chic.
I made a removable belt (thank god its removable as she didn’t like it and removed it and was feeling comfy doing so)
The dress is fully lined and seams do not show anywhere, i really like the underlining made separately and joined at neck and armhole with the main fabric technique
They both had great fun together..more on this on my blog for those interested
Silk Satin , Cotton underlining
