Pattern #3 is for 32F, to change it to 34E, make the band 2 cm longer in the back. Depending on the brand you wear, pattern #4 with no change in the band might be a better fit.

Hi! I LOVE this red/black version and would love to make the very same. Since I’ve never made a bra myself, may I ask you: what exactly do I need to change in the downloaded pattern? Am I right in assuming that the black part has less hight and obviously the “triangle” between the cups as well? How many centimeters would you suggest for a 75F? Also, what fabric do I pad it with? Any help is GREATLY appreciated! I do admit that this info is likely to be provided somewhere, in advance my apologies for not sensing it :-) Thanks.

Pattern #4 is for 75F, so no changes would be needed. If that is too small and you want to use pattern #5, you would have to make the band 2 cm shorter in the back. It is most likely not necessary to change the triangle in the middle, because I already drafted the pattern for larger cup sizes.
In the Netherlands there seem to be relatively many people who make their own lingerie, so we have good shops for materials here. The material I use to pad bras with is called “padding”. If you can’t find it, I think stitching several layers of a thicker fabric together would work.

Hi! Thank you so much for your reply. After re-reading my last post, I realize that my questions weren’t clear. I had already downloaded pattern #5 and am quite happy with it. I am reffering to your input above that the cups are lover and the middle front, supposedly compared to the blue/green lace original. Now all I was wondering was how much lower the black lace was compared to the blue/green original.
I checked on paddings a few days ago and were shown all kinds of thicknesses: from very thin to winter jacket thick :-) However, I bought something which I trust should work. Now only the lace issue remains. :-) Thanks again for your help.

If I remember it correctly I made the cups (and the triangle piece in the middle) 2 or 3 cm lower for size 65F. There are 2 ways to do this, you can remove it from the entire upper cup, or just from the middle, making it lower there and then connecting it in a diagonal line to the normal place on the side. For this bra I removed it from the entire upper cup. If you already have your wires, I would suggest measuring the wires and then deciding on how much lower you want the cup to be so the wires will fit.

I’m very sorry, but I haven’t uploaded a pattern that size yet. I’ll try to draw it soon and upload it when I’m at my parents house.

Pattern #11 is for 34 L, which could be changed to 40 I, by making the band larger. Pattern #12 is for 34 M, which could be changed to 40 J. The patterns run somewhat small.
I just tried to download a pattern and it works, so I hope it was just a temporary problem. The copyshop pattern contains the instructions.

Thank you sooo much for your pattern! I am a very large chested woman in a small town. The bras here are limited to almost all of what we call “Helga” bras. (Only designed for function and not looks). Now I can make my own bras and have a smirk to go with them!

Hi, Thanks so much for your lovely pattern. I am looking for the 65/30/8 H but the pattern pdf for that size is for F. Is the 65/30/8 H available? Thank you so much.

The pattern for 65/30/8 H is based on the 75/34/12 F pattern, which has cups of the same size. To change that pattern to 65/30/8 H you make the band 2 cm shorter in the back.

Thanks for posting these. They look very professionally made. Is there any chance that you have a blog site that details the making of bras so we can see the steps you take in achieving the finished creation?

That will be #2 or #3. It depends on the brand you wear. If you wear a brand that is specialised in larger sizes you’ll need #3.

Maybe you’ll fit pattern number 7, but it might be too large.

Hi, I really like this pattern! I was wondering though I’m a 34G in American sizes….is there a pattern for this size (or same cup size? I can change the band easy)?? Or am I just outta luck?

Pattern number 5 is for 36F, which you can easily change to fit 34G. The pattern is higher in the middle front than this red and black one.

Pattern #8 is for 85B. You don’t have to make the band shorter or longer.
Good luck.

That is one beautiful bra! Is it difficult to make a bra? I, like others, am hesitant to try. It seems like a good solution, however, for those of us with odd sizes or missing a hooter due to cancer. Great color and style on yours! So sexy, too!

Thank you :)
Bras aren’t that difficult to make, though you have to be quite precise, because half a centimeter is quite a big difference in bra, while it’s a very small difference in most clothing items.
I would recommend starting with panties first, because many of the techniques are the same. First getting used to the stretchy material can save you a lot of frustration.

Wow ! I like this. Way back I tried to make bras – not very good I’m afraid . But the choice of fabrics for the home sewer are so much better than in the 70’s !. I like coloured underwear and make camisole, french knickers, panties and petticoats only to be disappointed that I can’t buy matching bras, so maybe it’s time to look at bra making again. I’d be obliged for any pattern information as I am very small in the bust area !. Thanks
