This necklace was inspired by an article I read somewhere online about making your own jewelry out of magazines and cardstock. I loved making this necklace because I myself cannot afford Tiffany’s jewelry (or really any nice bling) on my college student budget, but could use some cute costume jewelry for any special occasion.
Magazines, cardstock, gluestick (or paper modge podge), necklace clasps, needle, and patience.
My boyfriend Damen. -he helped me punch tiny holes in each of the jewels while we watched the best of Wil Ferrell.
Also, my friend Shelby helped me collect the jewels from old wedding catalogs at her work.
One of the most beloved American designers passed last night. We look back at a few of his designs.
