Burda Style For people who sew
Description
This bear is based on the december 2012 bs, model 160.
I had some remaining pieces of orange canvas from upholstering some chairs, and saw this very cute project in last bs issue, funny because I was wondering how to sew my own puppets.
Well, this is my first attempt, there are plenty of mistakes: the worst of them is that the head and the breast seam are not lined therefore the head is a bit twisted over his shoulder which gives him a lively air, in addition I put the right arm the other way around (say the arm is stuck to the shoulder by the hand) but in my opinion it looks funnier this way, and finally one of the legs is weird as it is a bit twisted. I wouldn’t expect much better as I begun the project at 20:30 and finsihed at 5:00.
As I had no embroidery thread I used some pieces of bias tape, and reduced the ears size I found the original ones too big.
I find it lovely, do you?

My god! I can`t stop laughing.This is so funny! I am also making one now, the big one 55cm.I was stuffing the head and body today and while I was doing that I could not belive how huge this bear will turn out!! almost as big as my 2 years old girl!!! hhihihi… I love your bear
