LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE this pattern!!! It would SO suit my pear shaped figure with the flare at the bottom (which is hard to find in a wrap dress). I’d made it as a dress and a coat! It’d totally be worth $4 and the time to put it together….. but alas… I’m an average American rtw 10/12 or a hybrid burda 42/44. Sigh. I guess everything can’t be perfect. Skinny girls enjoy! I can’t wait to see what you create!

whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat???? this is so freakin cute i just closed my eyes and shook my head. i had to collect myself for a moment. can not WAIT to make this!!!! thank you burda girls!!!!

Nice curvy lines from the lapels to the pleats in the skirt part, accented by the oversized cuffs, aware use of structure for the look, really good overall design that can work in several types of fabrics I can think of.

Very cute. It wouldn’t suit my body type though. It would be great if you came up with a pattern for a Von Furstenberg style wrap. Somewhat plain, but elegant and tasteful.

Lovely, plus pajama shapes and details seems to be definitely on the trend in 2009… I would rather transform this lovely dress in a trench, in order to wear it as ofthen as I’d like to…
Hey, burdastyle up there, do you think this pattern suits the use of gabardine or vinyl???

Only up to size 40?? Very disappointing, as I love this pattern. I would have downloaded it for sure had it gone up to a 44 like many of the other patterns.

it’s absolutely gorgeous!

It’s so pretty!! I wish I could download it…and I wish i had the skills! Maybe someday I will be capable of sewing something this gorgeous! Great work burdastyle team! This pattern is simply wonderful!!

Hmmm, slightly disappointing… after reading the comments about the size I checked the size chart and it seems that I am too big for it as well. :( I always thought I was on the normal side of the people-size scale. Guess not. Probably won’t be buying this one now if I have to resize it to make it fit.

Can anybody else see it in oil cloth? Great. BUT: too challenging for my skills

Very nice, but I think I would wear something underneath.. Because otherwise it would look a little bit too much pedophile :P

After last week I’m glad to see a “proper” pattern again. Too sad it seem to be for skinny people only: up to size 40 only!
Jan 19, 2009, 11.59 PMby julietta
Great design! I hope there will be more patterns like this in the future. And this one is definitely worth paying for!
Jan 19, 2009, 11.49 PMby klaartje

Jan 19, 2009, 11.29 PMby moti133
this coat is so good and it is suitable for us(iranianwomen) to wear it out with scarf. but because I live in Iran and we have not any national credit carts then we cant buy the patterns. if we could post u some money directly foe having patterns, I do it by all means. is it possible? thank u.
Jan 19, 2009, 10.53 PMby madamewu
i love it :) great :) i just don’t like this that we need to pay for patterns :(
Jan 19, 2009, 10.45 PMby victors
Very nice , smart looking. Stopping at a 40? come on Burda, the patterns used to encompass more sizes than that.would adding upto a 44 cost any more?
