I used an old pair of wide-legged pants to try to sew my first pants. I used a pattern I downloaded from m-sewing. Although the reference measurements corresponded to mine, I ended up taking in 1 cm at both side seams and at the waist. In spite of that, the waist is still too wide (and I supposed the legs would have been more “thigh hugging”).
After all, I am quite happy with the result (considering that pants never seem to fit me). I am sure I could adjust the pattern for a better fit, but I don’t know exactly what changes are needed. Any suggestions?
