Burda Style For people who sew

I´m taking a fashion design course and this is a practical assigment. Had to start from a geometric shape and add volume and odd shapes. After 2 classes other students had to suggest a concept that they thought related to the unfinished garment. Mine was labelled as “Through the swamp” and i had to start working to reinforce that idea. After 2 more classes this is the finished product and i like it.
Estoy haciendo un curso de diseño de indumentaria y éste es un trabajo práctico. Tenía que partir de una forma geométrica y añadir volumen y formas raras. Después de 2 clases los demás estudiantes debían sugerir un concepto que creían relacionado a la prenda sin terminar. Mi proyecto fue nombrado como “Atravesando el pantano” y tenía que seguir trabajando la prenda reforzando el concepto. Después de 2 clases más este es el prototipo terminado y me gusta bastante.

Material Notes

Jersey de algodón, hilo de poliéster, vellón de lana, alambre.
Cotton jersey, poliester thread, wool roving, wire.
