I took a blanket with a great panda graphic and turned it into a cacoon coat. Its short however the sleeves give a fun dramatic flair. I like it because I could wear this to work. There was no cutting of the material. Cacoon coats take material & make it useful until you change your mind and convert it into something else. I saw an episode of The Mcphee sewing program on tv. Its a Canadian company and the lady that host the program has an smart way of introducing sewing to people for a colder climate. Wonder things to learn. Her name is Linda Mcphee.
My panda cacoon coat is a blanket!
Fleece from a home decor store. This is a blanket. Buttons from a shop in Vancouver. They are vintage & I found them in my craft box stash.
