Description

This pillow is very easy to make and can be put together to fit your needs and style.

HEATING PAD: Microwave on high for 2 to 4 minutes, checking after 2 minutes. Pillow will stay hot for about 30 minutes. DO NOT OVERHEAT. ICE PACK:

Don’t worry about melting ice. Put the pillow in a ziplock bag and place it in the freezer. Great for aches and pains. Warms cold hands and feet, especially at the foot of the bed at night! Take your pillow along as you travel. Reheat at gas fill-ups. Use at outdoor sports events. Thaws frozen locks.
To clean: Put in washer and dryer.

Material Notes

1/4 yard of cotton blend fabric,
Dent corn (not popcorn!)

Instructions:
Cut four of whatever shape you want your pillow to be. Two of these pieces will basically just be the lining that doubles the thickness. It’s best that dimensions of your project be about 10 in. X 10 in. or 6 in X 18 in. for a neck warmer.

Place “lining piece” on the wrong side of both outer pieces. ( the pieces that will show when your pillow is finished). Place right sides of the outer pieces together. Sew all the way around the edge of the pillow, leaving a hole in which to insert the corn. Turn right side out. Fill pillow half way with dent corn (not popcorn) and zigzag around the edge of the pillow. If you are making a neck warmer (6in X 18in), divide the length into thirds and fill each third half way full with corn. Seal each " section" by sewing width wise across the pillow.

Place in microwave or freezer and enjoy!
