Burda Style For people who sew
Description
I wanted a comfy, but sophisticated maxi-dress that could work for a curvy body. This dress is Simplicity 2692, which worked out really well. I ended up lining the entire thing in a soft white cotton, which helped to perk up the white in the fabric. You can read more about this project on my blog, Experiments and Accidents.

Hmm. I can’t help wondering about whether the slimming effect would have been stronger if the waistline had been longer (or the midriff yoke/band had been a bit narrower), but it already looks great even as it is.
