This dress was inspired by finding the fabrics. The top is linen with some sparkly threads woven in, which gives it a really subtle shimmer and the skirt ist a wonderfully flowy silk. Both of those fabrics were on sale (3€ per meter each!) so I just had to get them, even though I wasn’t quite sure about the colour on me.
I made the pattern for this dress myself and wanted to make sure it wouldn’t end up too “cute”, so I added a decorative metal zipper in the front.
It has been one of my favourite dresses this summer and I hope the autumn will still hold off a little so I can keep wearing it!

This is lovely – the metal zipper was a good choice! Sweet and chic at the same time.
