I stole this DKNY knit fabric from my mom’s stash over winter break and am just now getting photos of the dress. I used Simplicity 2865 again, drafting a bateau neckline and hemming it quite a bit shorter. Instead of adding fabric ties like my other version, I just wear it with a belt.
The longest step in making this dress was undoubtedly laying the fabric out so the front and back pieces would be symmetrical. I think the effort was worth it though, don’t you?
