First garment made for me in a very long time!! Not hard to put together either!
First invisible zip too – my 4 year old loves the fact it’s invisible and shows it to everyone saying “you really can’t see it!”
I used ribbed ribbon for the trim, it is cut very straight rather than me having to work on making a very straight one. I originally made it as a size 38, then realised it was going to be a little too small, so let out all the pleats, this made it too big!! So the zip went in three times!! Oh well, not too bad for the first attempt!
Thanks for the pattern, it is lovely, very flattering, and I have made a second skirt from it too.
100% cotton (in fact was in the quilting section), zip, ribbon
