A kurta — an Indian-style top — in a paisley fabric. The pattern is Vogue 8117 (now discontinued). A few years ago I decided to make my own “ethnic” clothes because the quality and fit of those available overseas, especially in India, is so poor. I made two that were very successful and became favourite garments. Now I have made another, the first for more than 4 years.
My fabric is Mark by Liberty of London. The colour is horrible but it is Liberty and it was going cheap on eBay (UK).
Flirty dresses, a cropped cami, and glam trousers for modern flappers.
