My entry for the Project Runway & Rowenta Remake Challenge. I created a jumpsuit from 2 of my husband’s old shirts. I was really wanting to do the entire thing in olive green, but of course I was short quite a bit of fabric for that. I thought about strapless but wanted to go into fall with this. I used pairs of pleats everywhere in this – the shoulders, sleeves, around the waist front and back.
I’m not sure how I feel about the final product. It is definitely not what I was envisioning. I wanted something edgier, and somehow this still turned out a little sweet… I think the pocket might not help? I can’t decide how I feel about it, but thought I might as well enter, right!

I think the sleeve are what make it sweet-feeling. The overall look I like though.
