This was pretty much to test out a pattern (#106 from the March issue of Burda World of Fashion). So the fabric was from my stash, and all I had to buy were the buttons. I like the way it turned out— the drawstring makes it easy to fit because there’s no darts, and it kind of reminds me of a little kid’s painting smock… I guess because of the color. I also had to hand-sew the buttonholes since my machine wasn’t cooperating with such lightweight fabric, and used instructions from CraftStylish.com for that
cotton, buttons
