Burda Style For people who sew
Description
My second sewn garment ever & my first pair of shorts. As such, they are pretty experimental. I don’t know if I’ll ever wear them.
As of now, they’re not yet completed. But, I couldn’t wait to post them. I still have to do some sort of fastening on the waist band & add some details – like belt loops/button loops & another back pocket flap.
Material Notes
random from my stash. I wish I would have had a nice silk or satin for the inset pleating.

why not wear them? They are great!!! And you say it’s your second piece you’ve sewn so far?! Excellent job! I envy you though on that inset pleating :) (I once tried to do that to a dress but it turned out sloppy – but I guess I wasn’t devoted and concentrated enough…I guess I should try it again)
