Pa Dow! Simplicity 2406 How It Should Be Done

Sacramento, Cali...

This dress is easy to construct for the most part although the sleeves can be a challange.

The instructions advise rolling the sleeve loosely (at least the picture does), when results were achieved much easier when I rolled the second sleeve up very tightly.

Use french seaming as much as possible.

I love your version, the sash in that shiny material is a perfect compliment to the linen!

Don’t be intimidated. The sleeves are the hardest part and there aren’t even any fasteners. You can practice one sleeve on a muslin or scrap and call/email me for help. You gotta start somewhere if you want to improve. I cant believe we both sew, lol.

you go girl! I love what you did with this dress. I saw this pattern and wanted to make it, but I’ve been pregnant all summer and having to settle for empire versions of anything. You look lovely!
