This was a bit of a staple over the hot summer as right now it’s a bit too cold to wear it without a giant jumper over the top! The pattern is an Amy Butler one which my lovely mum bought for me. I absolutely love this material which is very light and breezy. I think it could probably be shorter as I don’t think this peplum style suits me much… I made the bias binding to match the penguin fabric. I think it needs some adjustments around the neck and the back, but these will have to wait until next summer! The main reason I made this was because I miss Penguin biscuits…

I love that fabric – it’s sweet without being treacle-ly. I love the neckline – I think that style really suits you.

I know! I actually went to the fabric shop to get some plain material, but just couldn’t resist the jolly penguins!
