My friend who now lives in London dropped a massive hint that she wanted an Oystercard (travel card) holder one for Christmas and I then found some fab cotton fabric with London buses on it in the Abakhan sale.
I have an awful memory, but remembered her mentioning that she wants one more like a phone holder than the open wallet type that you get with the cards, so that she can have her bank cards and oyster card together as you don’t need to take the card out of your wallet to use it – just hold it against the reader!
My mate loves it and left this comment on my facebook photo:
" I use it every day. People have commented on it as there’s nothing so cute and small on the market- you could have a nice little earner making designer oyster card holders for us Londoners.. maybe start your own online shop? “pimpmyoyster.co.uk”?"
LOL – sounds like it’s been a success then :-)
