Because i don’t like sweaters but need something warm to wear in winter i designed this jacket. And it is ofcourse in my favorite color red :) I wanted it to be high closed, so i don’t have to find a charming matching but still warm shirt. Making a pattern for a jacket was more difficult than a pattern for a skirt or a dress. So i used a pattern from burda magazine and changed that. I made it longer, slimmed the waist, added a collar, made the sleeves a bit wider, and the front a bit broader to be able to make a button closing and i added a belt. I made matching buttons that fit the jacket perfectly.
For a change i made some pictures with my face on it , after it was asked for :) It was fun to make these pictures! Well, here you can all see what i look like in my favorite color.
Wool (blend), matching made buttons, metal buckle
