I made this for a friend’s christmas present! I love owls and I know ModCloth does too! The owl was inspired from various animal and owl items on modcloth. I sewed it using leather and a purple satin blend for the inside. I can’t believe my sewing machine let me sew leather! Although, I did have to hand-sew the eyes and beak on. On the inside there are 2 cash compartments, a change zipper pocket, and 5 credit card pockets. It closes with 2 gold, magnetic snaps. I painted the leather colors to match the Joie de Vivre top which is shown in the last picture I added. They match perfect! Here’s the link for the top also: http://www.modcloth.com/store/ModCloth/Womens/Tops/Short+Sleeve+/Joie+de+Vivre+Top

I can’t believe your sewing machine let you sew leather either, lol. Lucky – I have to sew on all of my leather by hand.
Great job. This is just too cute!!
