Corsets are the best. Be it for a night out or everyday. They are great. I really like yours because it’s not over done. Some stores try way too hard and it doesnt look half as good. I especially like you’re white one. I hope you do decide to post a pattern for them. They would make a great addition to my collection.

I really love your corsets, really fabulous! Have you thought about adding a “how to” or a simple corset pattern as I’d love to have a go but don’t have any real idea where to start?

Thanks lauriana, you gave almost every answer I had given (sorry, my english is not as good is I wish it to).
The bones do not stop under the cup. I used 7mm steel there the two front paneels meet, one bone on each side. That works pretty good.
For this corset I used a pattern given to me by a friend, normally I do my patterns myself.
@ sabine: I don’t think that a corset will hurt you, if it is not too small.
There is no pattern I can work with like this in multisize, I had do to this pattern for your measures, but I think, underbust would do better for you. My corsets normally are about 100€ (plus).
Lauriana is right, go to a shop and try some corsets to get to know, if you like the feeling!

It’s great! I love corsets anyway, but this one has a gorgeous shape. Do the bones at the front stop under the cup? I always wondered about that… Did you use a pattern or draft your own? It must look great on. By the way, sabine, I’ve got some answers for you. ‘real’ corsets, like I think this one is, with busk closure at front and steel boning, are usually designed to reduce your waist by 5 to 10 cm (2 to 4 inches). That takes some getting used to, but because you are in control of how tight it is (just start easy and lace a little tighter each time) and because a corset also influences your posture and doesn’t aply all the pressure in one place (like too tight pants do) it won’t pinch in that way. I have one overbust corset which sometimes causes me trouble, but that’s because it’s just a little narrow at my lower ribs (which can get painfull) and generally underbust styles are a bit easier to move around in, because they confine less of you body. If you’re interested in buying a corset I’d recommend going to a store where you can try them on, because the precise fit can vary a lot from one brand to the other. Wow! That is simply way too pretty! Hope you don’t mind my asking: I have been thinking about using a croset to tame my belly, do they pinch the stomach at all? When I would wear too tight pants in the waist, I’d get horrible pains in my midsection after a while….So how much would one like this be (not necessarily black though)?
