Burda Style For people who sew

I needed to make an outfit for my husband’s company Christmas party… I wanted it to be nice and a bit sexy, while still being covered up since it is in December in Colorado…
Just to note for those of you making the top, it was actually fairly simple to make… I think just about anyone could make it, but make a mock up to make sure it fits… I had to size up a little since I do not have “barbie arms” and am a bit on the busty side… but I was really excited… I took it up a half a size from what I thought it should be and it fit great, even through the chest… actually, if you are just a bit larger through the chest and not… ehem… huge… then it should make a nice silhouette… The skirt is a simple straight skirt I had a pattern in my giant tote for…
