My friend Martina has asked me to do an outfit for her, as she is invited to a wedding. I love her and knew instantly, what i wanted to do for her. something similar to my “sherlock holmes” but a bit more dandy.
we ended up doing a pair of trousers and a waistcoat using a dark blue very light wool material (that has as well a little off-white in it, so while moving, the material has a “changeant” effect. the backside of the waistcoat (as well as the inside) and the scarf are made in bright red silk. the colors look lovely together (i think at least) and we are happy, that i could convince martina to those colors, as she initially wanted it to be more balanced and not so much contrasts, but the result suits her soooo well!
