Now that school is finished for the year, I finally had time to go to the fabric store and make myself a new cover for my computer, as my old one (that I made about 2 years ago!!) was past shabby. I went to my new favorite fabric store downtown, and found a gorgeous print that I knew would be perfect! The liner I got from the same store on my last trip in the ends bin for a whopping 99 cents, and the zipper I had laying around at home, which just happened to be an invisible zip, but I kind of like it anyway. The foam I was fortunate to get from my boyfriend who works in an art supplies/framing store (it comes wrapped around their frames, so that was free!) because I couldn’t find the right foam anywhere!
I got the idea from here: http://www.raisin-toast.com/in_the_studio/2011/02/a-laptop-sleeve-for-my-macbook.html but there wasn’t really any instruction on how to actually construct it, so I just kind of winged it. I hope you enjoy!
