A navy blue and cream striped dress I made in summer 2008. It is sleeveless, with a single pocket in the front and waist ties that tie in the back.

Cotton from the $1.00 a yard pile at my local Walmart.

It was really simple to make, the pattern (Simplicity 2962) is one of their easy patterns. I made one as a shirt like the pattern is written, but then figured it would be cute also lengthened into a dress.
