The top is made of low stretch knit jersey in charcoal.
The bib has been knitted separately (triple cable knit), following a pattern published in Burda magazine 12/2011 (the leather and wool bag). I have, in fact, used that pattern over and over again, including for a bag which has (sadly) never been finished.
I used satin bias binding for the neckline and a couple of nickel matt sequins for the cord and the neck.
The top has a butterfly shape and the shoulder line is in fact the fold of the fabric. I therefore only needed to use one stitch on each side of the top.
Happy to provide a sketch of my innovative pattern.

smart… it looks beautiful and new, never thought of knitting and added to a blouse. I might do that with a jacket too. :)

Beautiful!! I love the details of the sequins and satin, and I especially love the knit bib. I would totally buy this top! You should consider selling them…its awesome!

Soooo gooood!!! I just love it! Definitely gonna make one for myself! Do you happen to have the pattern for the blouse? (“Bat-sleeves” I suppose?) Or at least a photo with the sleeves stretched to the sides – I’d really appreciate it! Thanks for sharing! :)

It is interesting, I had three people who contact me asking to order it. It looks simple, but I am not sure if I have the patience to knit three more bibs like that, it takes days and the yarn is soooo expensive :-(
