A nice skirt, very comfortable, made of stretch material with pretty print. The yoke and the waisband is single cut with reliefs. The pockets are sewed for 2.5 cm from the side to the front centre along the edge so they don’t add extra cms to the hips:)
All the seams, exept the side, are processed with top stitches. I also lengthened the skirt for 5 cm and made a short slot in the right side seam.
The skirt is from Burda 3/2009, #104.
Stretch serge. The fabric is quite dense so I’m going to wear it in the beginning of autumn, too, with some knitted pullover or cardi.
