I designed this dress using a bodice block combined with the Katjusha style back, and a pleated rectangle skirt. I love, love, love how it fits! I wanted to create this dress as a cute but casual option that could be worn at my job as a nanny, so it was important that it was comfortable, easy to wear and had pockets! I’ve already had one phone destroyed because I just threw it in a snack bag. The pockets are hidden in the side seems. The trim adds a bit of a flirty detail and also serves as the straps. I’ve already worn this to work and it is fantastic!
