I made this dress for Christmas day and just finished it within an hour before I had to leave to go to friends for Chrissy celebrations.

I received many compliments, which is always a bonus! I found the bodice lining was quite sweaty (summer is finally here in Sydney) next job is to take out lining and add another, aargh! And while I’m at it I will take out the zip as well, the only zip I had in my stash wasn’t as long as I would have liked (nightmare getting in and out of it)! Too many lessons learnt on this one. I just had to have another NEW DRESS.

The comment around the table was that I am CDM (compulsive dress maker) there are far worse compulsions than this! I quite like CDM, might make it my label?
