Description

I had this knitted fabric in my stash and I wanted to try this pattern.. It was fun to sew since the sleeves are different from each other. I made french seam as in the instruction at the big neck and hand sew the hem at the neckline. Since the fabric are transparent I have to use a tank top underneath.. :)

It is very beautiful, Ellen. The choice of the colour makes the top and creates a magic impression of warm shining around you. I like it very much!

Thanks Zsuzso! As you can see on the picture one of the shoulder is falling down, but that’s how it suppose to.., but if you use a comfy fabric I’m sure you will be happy with it :)

You convinced me for sure. The technical drawing threw me off but glad you’re so adventurous to try out this pattern. I’ll put this on my bucket list as well.

Nice top and colour. I wanted to try this pattern also but was very hesitant because of the oversize neckline. Seeing yours might just do it

I love this Ellen. I have to admit I thought it looked quite odd in the magazine!! I didn’t think it would sew up nice but you have done a smashing job on this. I love the fabric choice and the colour. The sheerness of the fabric gives it a delicate modern touch and it’s lovely on you. I love your trousers as well. You look radient x

White would look great Ellen. I love cowl neck tops and dresses. My friends all wear polo necks in autumn /winter but I can’t wear anything restrictive or tight round my neck. The cowl is a great alternative. I am making cropped leggings / Capri’s at the moment out of ponteroma for work and casual wear. I love my comfort lol x

As you may see, one of the shoulders is falling down when I’m wearing the top, but I suppose it’s how it’s going to be… Anyway it’s always fun to try new patterns ;) Thanks for your comments and support :-)
