After sewing my dress 60’s, I chose to sew the C-dress by adding long mutton-legs sleeves and expanding the skirt to be able to add pleats. I like it, but the stretch fabric that I used is quite heavy and I fear it is too heavy for the seams … Come what may!

yum – While I really liked this for an everyday dress pattern, I was’t blown away by this design, but the color and mutton leg leg sleeves truly transformed this dress into a WOW!

This dress is a great color and I’m totally in love with your addition of the leg-o’-mutton sleeves. Your styling is awesome with the belt too. I love to add different sleeves to other patterns, because it adds another element of style. There are some vintage patterns with just sleeves that you can add to other dresses or blouses, that I want to buy so badly.

LOVE the pleating in the front of the dress! Great idea to combine the two patterns, looks great! I’m gushing a bit, but I also love the color :)

It’s lovely!
If you need to, you could always go in after and reinforce the seams, either with straight-grain pieces or clear elastic.
