I created this dress for a friend’s birthday party. The fabric was from the stash pile and is either silk, silky cotton or perhaps cotton silk! I did a burn test and it burnt to ash so there are no synthetic fibres. The bodice is modified from a bridesmaid dress pattern in March 2011 issue (sorry, can’t find it on here) and the skirt is self-drafted from a double circle skirt. The sash is from a double layer of 3 metres of chiffon.
