Dress was really very tight fitting when I tried it on.
Luckily by then I only basted the zip onto dress, so I could unpick easily.
I wrapped the zigzag edges with grosgrain ribbon and sew these covered seams directly ontop the exposed zipper, thereby effectlveily adding about 2 cm of ease.
On the other hand the bust part was too loose as I am no Barbie. I trimmed off about 1 inch from each front and back piece, of zipper area armpit tapering down to waist ,before I zigzagged edges and bound with above grosgrain.
