My sewing has really sped up lately, which I’m really happy about! I made this dress yesterday. It took me less than half the day. It’s a pattern that I tried before but the fabric I`d tried first wasn’t stretchy enough. So I did it with a stretch fabric and it’s perfect! I love this print, too. Every so often, one of the little circles shines gold.
Simplicity, pattern 8860, view C
A stretch cotton. I found that using a slight zig zag stitch is best, so the fabric doesn’t buckle funny, and the stitches won’t break as easily.
Pattern of the Week
The oversized shape has a cool bell shaped silhouette with a wide body and fitted sleeves
