Burda Style For people who sew
Description
This was a redesign-project we had at school, where we were supposed to take at least two garments, and make them into a jacket, coat (or something like that). I used an old wool-skirt, which I turned up-side-down, and the arms of an old oat that I used in-side-out. The lining is an old mens-shirt.
Unfortunatly, the lining in the old jacket faded when I washed it, and the colour is not as bright as I it was supposed to…
This is what it looked like in the end. I also added some pictures of what it looked like before.
Material Notes
Wool skirt, polyester lining, cotton shirt.

Oh my gosh, this is so cool. It reminds me of a doublet-jacket from the 1500’s, with the collar and the slashes in the body. This makes me total inspired.

It’s amazing. And I rather like the contrast in the sleeves. The pleating and shape of the collar are so original. Fit for a queen!
