This is the “Bette” dress (again!) which was a free downloadable pattern from Sew Mag. It is really easy and satisfying to put together and I tried REALLY hard to be neat inside and out…..something I am not really so very good at, probably far too impatient. For a change, I sewed in an underskirt for added “pouffiness” but I didn’t manage it very well and have since thought of a better way of doing it. Ho hum! To compliment the lining I made a little cummerbund (sp?) and sewed on some pretty vintage buttons which I had triumphantly bought last weekend at a vide grenier.
Cotton , inside and out !

Hi, it was some time ago so I don,t think it is available any more. I don,t know if this is acceptable practice or not but as it was a free download I could scan mine and mail it to you…size 36 if that is any good?

It took some digging, but I found it on their site. Thanks for the offer though, I can’t wait to try it!

Great, I will download a spare then if I can find it as I love this dress’s shape…the instructions don’t always make good sense so use your own know-how when assembling the dress. I look forward to seeing your one!
