I like the simplicity of this style. I opt to use the pleated blouse from the June issue to pair it with a A line flare pleated midi skirt.
I use a silky fabric with a kind of sheen to make the blouse, with its double pleats across the front and shoulders. The skirt has pleats, zipper at back, pockets and waistband. It has the right amount of body to maintain the shape for the look I wanted. All fabrics are courtesy from my stash.
To achieve balance I tucked in the blouse. The look came across nicely :-)
