My very first ruffle skirt!! I adore it.
This skirt is so in right now with the ruffles and elastic banded waist. The muslin fabric is soft and so light-weight and comfy.

I love it! When you were making the layers, did you gather each of the layers separately before sewing them all together? Oh, and where did you find the elastic waistband? I’m thinking about just taking apart a wide belt that I have and using that… This skirt is very inspiring!

Thanks! Yep I did… and just make sure that when you sew the body of the skirt to the elastic band that you pull on the elastic… you want the material to be able to stretch with it. I actually just found the elastic lying around, but I’m sure you can find them at craft/fabric stores. Good luck! ;)
