I decided to start playing around with creating my own handbags without a pattern and this is what I came up with

Cotton, bias tape, snaps, ribbon.

      No, I don’t have a pattern…as I really HATE patterns and can never seem to follow directions. Basically it is a rectangle with the bottom corners curved…then take two pleats in it…do the same for the inside but leave wrong side out. Then the top is like a band with pressed in hem for finished off edge and then bias tape on top with the straps (ribbon) tucked in. I used a simple zig zag stitch in contrast thread for decoration….and there you have it.
