I re-use a an old wool dress that a friend made gave to me to make this skirt. I love the olive color and thought that it would be perfect for the cold season that is coming. This is also my first time sewing and invisible zipper, it came alright though, I had to sew it with my regular zipper foot. Also this was my first time at lining something. The pattern for this skirt is from burda style magazine. I love the simplicity of the skirt.
made out a re-used wool dress.

I love the simplicity as well! What a great upcycling. I use my regular foot on invisible zippers all the time…mainly because I lost my proper foot. Ah well. This will keep you warm!
