I revisited this pattern on my Christmas holidays as a sewing refresher. It’s a very simple pattern but once the littl’n is too big to wear it as a dress, they can still wear it as a top.
It’s a fairly old pattern from McCalls ‘stitch n save’ range. Pretty sure the day’s of saving money from sewing are long gone. And whilst I haven’t attempted to sew any clothing out of those old curtains yet, I’m pretty sure I’d some how be out of pocket. Yes, we sew for the love of it.
And what do I love about sewing for kiddies?? No alterations. Horrah!
